Among the many ports of Pipe Mania, the arcade machine by Video System Co. Ltd. deserves special attention because it changed both theme and gameplay. While the well-known plumber still pops out of the title screen and gives the gameplay instructions, the actual game offers three courses featuring firemen, doctors and construction workers respectively. Furthermore, the goal is not to create a pipe of a given length, but to connect a randomly placed start and end piece. Daehyun's Pipeline on the other hand is an exact clone of the original game.

This arcade machine was the direct inspiration for Yutaka Emura's Empipe and replicorn's Pipeful Sunday.
