Strikers 1945 III icon Strikers 1945 III is a vertically scrolling shoot 'em up released in 1999 by the Japanese company Psikyo. It offers gameplay similar to the previous two Strikers 1945 titles, but with modern aircraft. In Japan it was thus more appropriately called Strikers 1999. The export title was probably chosen to remove any doubt that this game is really part of the Strikers 1945 series.
